Senior AI Engineer with 8 years of software engineering experience turning agentic AI and LLM infrastructure into production products across government, defence, insurance, healthcare, and fintech.
Born and raised in South Africa. Graduated from the Harare Institute of Technology in Software Engineering, which is where the obsession with backend systems, distributed infrastructure, and applied machine learning started.
The last six years have been spent leading engineering teams, building founder-led products, and scaling an AI platform at Africai past 20,000 active users as CTO. Along the way, contract work with teams in the UK (CST, Vanti) and the US (Coindraw) kept the stack honest across backend, frontend, Web3, and IoT.
Today I work as an independent Senior AI Engineer shipping LangGraph/LangChain multi-agent systems and RAG pipelines as FastAPI microservices on AWS, scaling platforms to 20,000+ active users at 99.9% uptime for clients across the US, Gulf, and Asia-Pacific.
